I am tearing up reading this. It so clearly explains something that is rarely talked about in public.
I first became aware of your work from Yellow Hearts and later Never Heroes. I stopped following what you were doing after NH ended, until seeing your name in that interview on Assigned yesterday. Now I'm going to read all the stuff you have on Itch, and I reserved Hello Sunshine from the library!
Thank you so much for this. I am trying deal with figuring out I am very likely living with bipolar disorder, after a year of yet another antidepressant making things worse instead of better. Reading Sunflowers was like looking into a mirror and seeing myself clearly for maybe the first time. I'm pretty depressed right now in the "can't remember how to feel anything, just want to sleep until it's over" kind of way but you still managed to make me feel things.
Very good stuff. As someone who has something (not nearly as severe) that's also hard to talk about, it's great that you were able to share your experiences in comic form.

Gorgeously done comic that's so vulnerable yet carefully handled, great work Keezy!
